There is a substantial need to establish subspecialty healthcare facilities in the region for centers  that are sustainable and profitable. The concentration of healthcare facilities in major cities (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khobar), has left a large demographic of disadvantaged groups. The delivery of quality services is far weaker in the suburbs and other main cities in the country. This creates an opportunity for the private sector to plug this gap,  and  play an important role in providing these  segments of society with quality care.
